AgNet Media is gearing up for the annual Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Fresh Summit hosted in Orlando, FL, October 14-16. Alongside over 1,100 exhibitors from 60+ countries, AgNet Media will be taking in the innovative opportunities presented at the expo.

The exposition doesn’t officially start until October 15, but today is a very busy day for Fresh Summit attendees. Welcoming receptions, booth setups, and workshops make for a full day’s schedule.
The Fresh Summit workshop series keep the first day attendees on the edge of their seats learning about popular industry trends. The workshop series have been divided into community categories of: Science and Technology, Industry Talent, Floral, Global Connections, and Issues Leadership. Attendees can “Find Your Community” online at www.pma.com to maximize networking efforts and get the most out of the workshops. Some popular workshop topics from today include: “How to Reach The World’s 900 Million Online Shoppers”, “Emerging Trends in Food Safety and Technology”, and “Supply Chain Transparency.”
A fun event happening today is the Sensory Experience Contest. This contest showcases innovative, kid-friendly recipes from exhibitors of Fresh Summit. Fresh Summit attendees are invited to sample the recipes from the winner and finalists.
